Working...I feel like I'm constantly working - working at work, working at home, working in school, working on relationships...however, I have found the time to take photos:
I am determined to learn how to consistently shoot well at the pool on a really sunny day. This is Melody at Aunt Sandie's pool.
I took this picture of Angelica turtlebacking Adam at the pool while they were trying to create a whirlpool by swimming the perimeter of the pool.
Both of these pictures were taken with my Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8 on my Canon 50D.
Vacation begins on Friday - mentally, I think I'm pretty much on vacation. Things are a little more chaotic than usual with so much happening. Can't wait to get away -
why are you thinking of switching to typepad? what does it have that blogger doesn't?

The size of the photos is really what brought me over.

Man, some of those photos are so big they don't fit completely on my screen. Mostly the vertical ones. I have to scroll up and down to see the hibachi guy.
I'm switching your blog address in my google reader so I won't miss a beat. Also, did you know... I believe there is a way for you to bring all your old Blogger entries over to typepad. Food for thought - while you are enjoying a break in ME.
Love you!

Kris, I usually shoot in AV mode. I didn't alter these pictures for color. Both pictures were shot with the following settings:
ISO 100
f/4.5
1/400 @ 75 mm(for Melody's Pic)
1/1000 @ 67 mm(for Adam and Angel's pic)
thanks for the encouragement!
